The problem
Your files are everywhere.
You know it. We know it.
How many times have you searched for a file and found three versions of the same document?
The Downloads black hole
Hundreds of files piling up with names like final_v2_REAL.pdf. You'll organize them later. You never do.
Finding anything takes forever
Was it in Documents? Desktop? That folder you made six months ago? You spend more time searching than working.
Duplicates you never clean up
Three copies of the same report. Old versions you forgot to delete. They sit there, taking up space, forever.
Temp files that never leave
Lock files, .tmp artifacts, system leftovers. They accumulate quietly and you don't even notice them.
The solution
Ordo reads your files.
Then puts them where they belong.
Not just filenames — Ordo understands what's inside each document and organizes them based on your context.
Content analysis
Ordo reads what's inside your PDFs, Word docs, spreadsheets, and presentations. It understands what each file is about — not just what it's called.
Automatic organization
Creates folders that make sense for you — Work, University, Personal, Finances — and moves everything to its right place.
Duplicate detection
Finds exact copies and old versions of the same document so you can free up space without worrying about losing anything important.
100% private
No file ever leaves your computer. No cloud, no external servers. Everything is processed locally. Your documents stay yours.
How it works
Three steps. That's it.
No setup, no configuration files, no learning curve. Pick your folders and let Ordo do the rest.
Pick your folders
Select the folders you want to organize — Downloads, Desktop, Documents, or any combination.
Review the plan
Ordo shows you exactly what it will move and where. You see everything before a single file is touched.
Confirm and done
One click and your files are organized. Changed your mind? Undo everything instantly.
Why we built this
Born from 300 messy files
It started with a Downloads folder full of over 300 files. The kind you keep promising yourself you'll clean up. One day, with the help of an AI assistant, I sat down and organized them — one by one. It worked, but it took three hours. Three hours of copy-pasting filenames, deciding where things go, and moving them manually. That's when it clicked: this should take minutes, not hours. And no file should ever have to leave your machine to make it happen. That frustration became Ordo.
Your Downloads folder will thank you.
